Rarium — Terms of Service
The service
Rarium helps you catalog collectibles using AI photo identification and market-value estimates. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Your content
You keep all rights to the photos and data you add. You grant us only the technical license needed to store and display them back to you. Don't upload content you have no right to, or anything unlawful.
How your photos are processed
Identifying an item means sending your photo to a third party. When you use an AI action, the photo is uploaded to our servers, stored, and sent to Anthropic, whose Claude models perform the identification. If you identify a figure as loose, that photo also goes to Hugging Face, which compares it against our reference database of known figures so we can suggest likely matches. Those two are the only providers that receive your photographs.
Valuing an item sends text only — the item's name, line, variant, condition and barcode — to eBay, PriceCharting and SerpAPI to look up market prices. No photograph is sent to any of them.
Your photos are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure and are deleted with your account. They are never used to train any AI model, and they are never shown to other users unless you choose to make a collection public. The Privacy Policy describes this in full, including what is retained after deletion and why.
If you are not comfortable with a photo leaving the app, don't use an AI action on it — manual entry never sends anything anywhere.
AI results are estimates
Identifications, authenticity signals and market valuations are automated estimates and can be wrong. They are not appraisals, authentication services, or financial advice. Always verify before buying, selling or insuring an item.
Plans & quotas
The free plan includes a limited number of AI actions. Paid plans add monthly quotas and are billed through Google Play; they renew automatically until cancelled in Google Play subscriptions. Unused quota does not roll over. Fair use applies — automated or abusive access may be limited.
AI actions are charged in credits: identifying an item costs 1 credit, a market valuation 2, and a shelf scan a minimum of 2. Manual entry is always free. If an AI action fails, its credits are returned. Achievements may award additional credits; those awards are a bonus and can change.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
Liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for decisions made based on AI estimates.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use means acceptance.
